Dave Cox is vice president of operations at Blue Coat Systems, where he is responsible for world-wide manufacturing and logistics, as well as Blue Coat’s new Blue Planet environmental initiative. Dave has more than 15 years of operations management experience in the networking and information technology industry.
Prior to joining Blue Coat, Dave spent nearly 3 years as vice president of operations for two networking infrastructure start-ups (RouteScience & Pluris) and as a manufacturing consultant (Hammerhead Systems). Before that, Dave spent over 5 years at Cisco Systems in various manufacturing management roles; his last role was as a business operations director, where he had end-to-end manufacturing responsibility for multiple product lines within the service provider line of business. While at Cisco, Dave also lead key acquisition integration, manufacturing outsourcing migration, ERP system enhancement and factory master planning efforts. Prior to Cisco, Dave held various materials management and new product introduction roles at Quantum Corporation.
Dave has a BA in International Relations from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

President and Founder, Ms. Pamela J. Gordon leads a growing strategic consulting firm serving some of the world's best-known electronics companies in best-practice outsourcing and supply-chain methods. Before founding Technology Forecasters Inc., in 1987, Ms. Gordon was a senior analyst at Gnostic Concepts, Inc., an electronics industry market-research firm. She wrote the book Lean and Green: Profit for Your Workplace and the Environment, published October 2001 by Berrett-Koehler Publishers. Ms. Gordon is a Certified Management Consultant by the Institute of Management Consultants, and was Chair of the IMC's Northern California chapter. A prolific author, Ms. Gordon has penned hundreds of articles for trade and business journals. Ms. Gordon is also quoted in more than 50 journals and newspapers and is a popular guest lecturer. She is a Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society graduate from San Jose State University.
