France is the second largest producer of medical devices in Europe, accounting for 16% of the total European medical device output. There are 2,500 major medical manufacturers in France, who last year produced €11 billion medical products. The French medical device market has been consistently expanding at the rate of nearly seven percent per year, and shows potential for even greater growth as the population ages.
MEDTEC France is ideally located in Besançon, at the centre of one of the highest concentrations of medical manufacturing companies in the country.
