Rexroth has expanded its extensive range of linear modules with the new BKK and BKR Bridge Modules designed to span long lengths without intermediate support. The Bridge Modules consist of an extruded aluminum profile whose geometry has been optimized for extremely high torsional stiffness, reducing deflection in applications where the module is not fully supported, such as Y axes for gantry systems. Two internal ball rail systems with four steel runner blocks are mounted inside the extrusion, at a 90-degree angle to each other, maximizing load and moment capacity.
