SPACE-ONLY (RAW SPACE) INFORMATION

If you have not booked a shell scheme stand, it will be your responsibility to design and construct your own stand. Please complete the "Space-Only" form below and return to Mandi Yildirim by 27th January. Also, please remember to order your carpet for your stand: carpet can be ordered through Melville.

The overall height of stand fitting for single-story stands including cladding of columns should not exceed 4 meters. Requests to exceed this height will only be considered provided that they are submitted to the Organisers in writing with technical drawings. On divided stands it is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to erect and decorate any back wall facing your stand areas up to 2.5 meters. Walls above this height must be decorated on both sides from 2.5 meters upwards.


All stand construction and displays must be made from fire-proofed materials and installed to the satisfaction of the authorities. Stands constructed with two floors can only be approved if permission is obtained from the Organisers and the Exhibition Engineering Department prior to commencing of design, permission to build will only be given when designs are submitted in duplicate technical drawings including dimensional layout, sectional and panoramic views as well as structural analysis of the Exhibition Stand by 27th January. A variety of building services are available to contractors building space-only sites, such as floor fixings and access to service ducts.

GENERAL HEALTH & SAFETY

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, employers must ensure, so far as reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of their employees. Specifically in relation to Exhibitions, this means the Exhibitor must provide and maintain plant and systems, ensure safety and absence of risk to health in connection with the use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances, provide such information, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure the health and safety at work of all employees and to ensure the provision and maintenance of a working environment that is safe and with minimal risk.

It is COMPULSORY that ALL Exhibiting Companies provide a detailed risk assessment
form to the Organiser.
