An example of Multivac's innovative strength is SterileVent: a new technology in which a gas-permeable polyethylene fabric is applied to an easy-peel plastic film. This permits the full ethylene oxide sterilisation while at the same time delivering a more convenient and considerably less expensive package.

Multivac introduces a new service product: The company is offering a complete validation package in accordance with ISO 11607, including the documentation of all functions and potential risks, the proof of the process suitability and a software validation. One decisive advantage consists in the risk-based approach according to the FMEA method.
