Conference to Highlight Cleanroom Technology and Contamination Control

The conference portion of the Contamination Control and Cleanroom Products (3C) Exhibition has been expanded to include a series of parallel sessions on various aspects of cleanroom technology and contamination, according to event organizers. The Annual Technical Meeting will be held 18–19 February at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, and will feature key industry speakers. Delegates will have the opportunity to present scientific and technical papers. Products and services that will be on display include cleanroom design, installation, and construction; pumps; filters and filtration systems; flooring; humidity systems; particle counters; robotics; vacuum systems; vibration controls; and workstations.

Meditech Asia 99 Opens Door to Thailand

More than 260 exhibitors from 25 countries are expected to display products and services at Meditech Asia, the International Exhibition and Conference on Medical and Hospital Equipment and Supplies; the trade show will be held 25–28 March at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. In conjunction with the exhibition, a conference will feature keynote speakers active in the global healthcare industry. Products that will be presented at the event include medical and hospital equipment, laboratory and clinical equipment, disposables, and pharmaceuticals.

Biomaterials Conference Comes to Germany

Germany will host the 12th Aachen Colloquium on Biomaterials at the Universitätsklinikum, RWTH Aachen, 18–19 February. Topics that will be addressed include the molecular design of surfacesand template imprinting; bone repair, calcification, and dental aspects; drug release, immobilization, and encapsulation; and scaffolds and artificial organs. Presentations will be given in English.
