April in . . . Besançon? You bet! That’s the month in which MEDTEC France debuts at the city’s Micropolis Exhibition Centre, on 22–23 April to be precise. The exhibition and conference joins the lineup of MEDTEC trade fairs in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Germany serving Europe’s €65 billion medical device manufacturing sector. The events are organized by Canon Communications llc, which also publishes this magazine.
France is the second-largest producer of medical devices in Europe, and Besançon sits at the hub of one of the highest concentrations of medical manufacturing in the country. Moreover, the region’s expertise in microtechnology puts its entrepreneurs among the avant garde in the development of next-generation devices.
