A developer of manufacturing operations systems (MOS), Aegis Software opened its new European headquarters in the United Kingdom in November. Aegis now occupies an entire building with facilities for customer support, training, a customer lounge, and sales and administrative offices.
The state-of-the-art training facility will be used to educate customers on the broad capabilities of its MOS software, says Aegis, and help them realize the full manufacturing benefit of the software. The building also provides for an expanded sales and support staff, and for technology conferences to update European customers on new product developments.
Aegis’s manufacturing operations systems software fully manages the manufacturing information environment, from process planning and launch, through manufacturing execution and shop floor materials control, to operations analytics and real-time dashboard systems. The company’s customer base encompasses the electronics assembly, medical device, defence/aerospace, and automotive markets.
