Following the recent expansion of its US and China plants, precision cleaning specialist Zestron is adding a facility to its European headquarters in Ingolstadt, Germany. The firm offers various applications and services for the cleaning of tools, direct copper bondings, and power modules, as well as the appropriate cleaning products. Each facility houses more than 35 cleaning machines, providing in-line, batch, and ultrasonic processes.
The new 3400-m2 facility will accommodate the largest analytical and technical center of its kind in Europe, according to the company. The plant will allow customers to achieve global cleaning process validation; complimentary cleaning trials in the 1000-m2 technical centre will provide customers with a comprehensive overview of the available applications and services. Companies looking for a complete cleaning solution will be able to find the optimal process for their specific requirements in just one day, the company claims. To enhance process support, additional process engineers have been added to the applications technology team. The new European site is scheduled to open by the end of this year.
