UV Curing Systems Support Rapid Curing of Electronic Parts

UV curing systems incorporate compact mercury-xenon lamps with a durable electrode structure that ensures stability and guarantees a minimum operating time of 3000 hours. The LC8 systems’ built-in condenser reflectors collect the intense UV light from the lamp and funnel it into quartz fibre light guides or large-area uniform beam optics. Low-loss optical systems ensure UV intensity as high as 4500 mW/cm2 at 365 nm. Replacing the LC5 and LC6 models, Hamamatsu Photonics Deutschland GmbH's (Herrsching am Ammersee, Germany; www.hamamatsu.com) LC8 systems allow rapid curing of electronic and optical components, thus avoiding thermal damage of the target object and its peripheral parts.
