Munich Hosts Analytica
Laboratory technology takes centre stage on 1–4 April when Analytica returns to Munich’s trade fair centre. Featuring everything from large-scale analytical contract laboratories to point-of-care diagnostics, Analytica also hosts a conference that will cover new developments in research and present panel discussions on economic policy and business topics. Event planners are expecting 30,000 visitors to attend.

Interpack to Be Held in Düsseldorf
Held once every three years, the Interpack trade show will return to Düsseldorf 24–30 April. Event planners expect more than 2600 international exhibitors to take part in the event, presenting everything from packaging materials to machinery. Filling 18 halls at the Düsseldorf Messe, the show will occupy more than 1.7 million sq ft of exhibition space. The last time Interpack was held, it attracted nearly 177,000 visitors, the majority of which came from outside of Germany.

Pharmaceutical Packaging Event Comes to Paris
A two-day conference scheduled for 6–7 February in Paris will focus on developments in drug packaging. Topics to be discussed include injectables and medical devices, and packaging for pediatric patients. An exhibition featuring technology and service suppliers will run parallel with the sessions. Event organizers are expecting more than 1800 attendees from 40 different countries.

Dortmund Hosts Nano Conference
A German-language conference to be held in Dortmund, Germany, on 18 and 19 February is expected to further nanotechnology research by fostering dialogue between researchers and industry representatives. The conference will provide an overview of the activities of the European Commission in nanotechnology. Scientists from North Rhine-Westphalia will discuss related issues.
