Teleflex Medical OEM (Kenosha, WI, USA) has announced the completion of a major expansion of its facilities in Limerick, Ireland. The US$500,000 expansion was required to meet the company’s production needs and set the stage for additional manufacturing and product development capacity, according to the firm.
The expanded facility will support production of devices used for interventional procedures and medication delivery. Devices can be based on the firm’s existing lubricious technology or alternative polymers. Reinforced catheter manufacturing will also be offered at the facility.
