A product designed for the treatment of cataracts from Top Clean Injection was feted at the Pharmapack 2007 show in Paris.

Top Clean Injection (Peschadoires, France) received the Prix Pharmapack 2007 in the medical products category at the Paris trade show earlier this year. A subsidiary of Top Clean Packaging, which is headquartered in nearby Thiers, the company was singled out for its M’Jet intraocular-lens injection device. Designed for the treatment of cataracts, the device was developed, and is now manufactured, packaged, and sterilized, solely at the company’s facility.

The award caps an especially dynamic period for the firm, which specializes in injection moulding. In 2006, Top Clean Injection obtained approval to place the CE mark on the Class IIa M’Jet device and achieved ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 certification. It operates ISO Class 7 and Class 8 cleanrooms on-site.
