Thermoplastic Compounder Partners with Plastics Firm
Thermoplastic compounding firm Lati S.p.A. (Vedano Olona, VA, Italy) has signed an agreement with Degussa AG (Düsseldorf, Germany) to distribute that company’s proprietary Vestakeep PEEK polymer in southern Europe. Available in two viscosities, the polymer maintains its mechanical properties at high temperatures and offers chemical, hydrolysis, and radiation resistance. In addition, it can be reinforced with graphite, PTFE, glass, and carbon fibre.
