Rebuilt centreless grinders offer economy with performance
![]() |
CNC centreless grinders for the grinding of wires and tubes are available in large sizes from a guidewire manufacturing equipment supplier. Employing up-to-date design and production technology, Guidewire Solutions Ltd. (Shankill, Co. Armagh, UK) can offer grinders with a work wheel as wide as 100 mm. The versatile machines are suitable for plunge grinding as well. The large-scale grinders are able to hold very good tolerances with repeatability.
The supplier keeps machine costs down by reengineering the units from carefully selected older donor machines that are stripped of all components but the casting. It rebuilds the grinders totally from this starting point, using the latest components to achieve a high-quality end product. The resulting equipment delivers speed, accuracy, and precision at an economical cost.
The centreless grinders meet customers’ exact specifications. They feature automatic feed systems that are linked directly with operator-friendly software that enables complex and intricate parts to be ground. In addition, an automatic part-measurement system is available to provide postgrind measurement of every worked part.
