Putnam Plastics Corp. (Dayville, CT, USA). Putnam is a specialty extruder of plastics used in the medical and other technology industries. The company manufactures coextruded polyimide and multilumen, braided, and extremely thin-wall multilayer tubing. The company also makes sheathing for fibre-optic tubing.

SurModics Expands European Activities

TriVirix Purchases Medtronic Facilities
TriVirix International (Belfast, UK), a medical device contract manufacturer, has announced the purchase of manufacturing and product functions of the gastroenterology, urology, and neurology diagnostic businesses in Copenhagen and Salt Lake City from
Medtronic Inc. (Minneapolis, MN, USA). Under this agreement, TriVirix will provide product development and manufacturing services to Medtronic.

DSM Dyneema Invests in Fibre Production Line
