Injection Moulding Firm Increases Production Capacity
Customer demand has led Braun Formenbau GmbH (Bahlingen, Germany) to expand production capacity by 2500 m2. In expanding its Class 10,000 cleanroom for the production of pharmaceutical parts, the company also made substantial investments in procuring state-of-the-art equipment. The site features water-purification equipment, a three-stage sluice system, access monitors, and an on-line monitoring system. Sophisticated instruments have been installed to ensure that particulates do not exceed prescribed levels.
The company has announced that the expansion will enable it to bring a dozen new injection moulding machines on-line and to install additional assembly systems, as required.
