CIRMS to Focus on Radiation

The 12th annual meeting of the Council on Ionizing Radiation Measurements and Standards (CIRMS), to be held 27–29 October in Gaithersburg, MD, USA, will focus on radiation and radioactivity measurements and standards in the industry. Medical applications as well as industrial uses and effects on materials are among the topics that will be discussed. National organizations and laboratories will be on hand to present measurements and standards activities from their respective countries.
