Shows and ConferencesICCM Convenes in California
Hosted by the American Society for Composites and the Composites Manufacturing Association of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the International Conference on Composite Materials (ICCM) will be held on 14–18 July, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in San Diego, CA, USA. The theme of the conference, “ICCM-14: Global Composite Advancements—Bridging Academia and Industry,” will address the need for increased cooperation between the two parties.

Amsterdam Hosts Microtechnology Seminar
Current and emerging developments in microsystem technology (MST) and nanotechnology (NT) will be explored at the eighth International Conference on the Commercialization of Micro- and Nanosystems. The event will be held at the Krasnapolsky Hotel, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 8–11 September.

Global Summit on Healthcare Purchasing
The Health Industry Group Purchasing Association (HIGPA) will host its second annual Global Summit on Healthcare Purchasing and Supply at the Grand Amsterdam Hotel, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 2–4 June. MD&M East Returns to New York
Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) East, EastPack, and Atlantic Design & Manufacturing return to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City this June. Show organizer Canon Communications llc, which also publishes EMDM, has announced that more than 1500 exhibitors will participate at the event scheduled for
2–4 June.
MD&M East will feature suppliers offering an array of products, services, and equipment of particular relevance to medical device OEMs. An enhanced conference programme will cover topics such as medical packaging design and materials selection.
