Isotron plcA company offers gamma, EtO, and E-beam contract sterilization as well as related testing services at 16 locations worldwide. Isotron plc (Swindon, Wilts, UK), which acquired Gammaster International in 2002, reports that it has the largest chain of contract sterilization sites in Europe.
The company can perform customer-specific tests as well as provide a range of microbiological, analytical, and consultancy services at its facilities. For products routinely treated by irradiation, the firm can carry out studies based on ISO 11137, methods 1 and 2, or the VD Max method. For EtO applications, sterility, biological indicator, and residuals testing can be conducted. Logistics services, including transport, repackaging, and palletization, are available.
Isotron also offers a guaranteed 24-hour turnaround service. Under the terms of its Daily Rapid Turnaround (DaRT) programme, Isotron will process loads up to 90 cu ft within 24 hours or the processing is free.
