Power supplies
A family of universal switch-mode power supplies is suited for a range of medical devices such as ultrasound equipment and breast pumps. The CE-compliant MW125 power supply family comprises nine models, ranging from 21 to 48 W with input voltages of 100 to 250 V ac, and can be easily mounted for portable applications. Users may choose from a variety of medical device–mounted configurations.

Customized light detection
A company offers a range of UV to near-infrared light detection solutions, down to photon counting levels. Products include photomultiplier tubes, power supplies with low power consumption, signal-processing electronics, counter-time modules, ambient and cooled housings, and complete light detector assemblies. Laser diode
A high-power, high-brightness visible laser diode is suited for use in therapeutic medical lasers and machine vision systems. The SLD1332V laser diode offers 500 mW optical power output at a wavelength of 670 nm in a 9-mm package. Brushless dc blower
A compact, high-speed 24-V brushless dc blower can produce 28.8 mBar of H20 pressure and is capable of producing a flow rate of 10.2 L/sec. Drive and communication are embedded in the brushless motor design, thereby providing a two-wire input. The impeller and rotor are balanced to provide a vibration-free, low-noise operation. Windings for other voltages are also available.

Profile sensors
A designer and manufacturer of custom optical sensors for process control applications supplies profile sensors for rapid detection of micrometric surface and diameter defects during the manufacturing of small wires, cables, tubings, and fibres. The profile sensors are able to monitor diameters down to 0.01 mm and can run at line speeds up to 3000 m/min. The sensors are supplied for both single- and dual-axis measurements.

The CD-ROM enables design engineers to research the microchips’ capabilities, and download datasheets in a pdf format. Electronic switches
