PennEngineering to Acquire M.A.E. S.p.A.PennEngineering & Manufacturing Corp. (Harleysville, PA, USA), the parent company of PEM Fastening Systems, Pittman, Atlas Engineering, and Arconix Group, has announced plans to acquire Maelux S.A. and its sole operating company, M.A.E. S.p.A. (Offanengo, Italy).
The acquisition will bring M.A.E. S.p.A.’s stepper technology to the Pittman motor division, and augment the existing brush and brushless motor product lines. In addition, Pittman will acquire a manufacturing site from which it can better serve its European customers.
