UTI Combines Two Machining Facilities

UTI Corp. (Collegeville, PA, USA) is consolidating its machining facilities and transferring all operations from UTI-Micro Med Machining to UTI-Spectrum Manufacturing. By combining the two existing machining facilities, UTI hopes to serve its customers more efficiently. UTI-Spectrum uses a number of fabricating technologies, including conventional RAM and wire EDM, to produce highly precise and complex components for the medical industry. UTI-Spectrum currently manufactures prosthetic heart valves, orthopaedic bone fixation devices and instrumentation, and laparoscopic and endoscopic surgical instruments.
