Popper & Sons Inc.
An ISO 9001–certified fabricator of OEM metal tubular components for the medical device industry has 80 years of experience in the business. "Our critical knowledge is shared with medical device manufacturers who come to us," says Zev Asch, vice president of marketing and sales for Popper & Sons Inc. (New Hyde Park, NY, USA). "It can save our customers months in prototype development and eventually can help them get their products to market faster," he adds. Prototypes are delivered in only 2 to 4 weeks, according to the company.
Services include burr-free precision cutting and grinding of hypodermic tubing, needle grinding, and assembly. Popper & Sons also offers a host of fabrication specialties such as bending, coiling, EDM, CNC, swaging, flaring, centreless grinding, electrochemical grinding, notching, drilling, and slotting. Finishing operations include grit and sandblasting, electropolishing, and coating.
