Monnier + Zahner AG
The M 648 rotary-transfer grinding machine from Monnier + Zahner AG (Safnern, Switzerland) consists of four modular machining stations and a loading station arranged in the form of a star. Thus the four grinding operations and the loading and unloading sequences can take place simultaneously, reducing cycle times by up to 75%.
This is just one example of the machines that Monnier + Zahner produces. "Our quality is set to high standards, and our customers confirm that our machines need very little servicing," says general manager Roland Wälti. "The construction of the machines is very solid, and the programming is easy enough that a highly qualified staff isn't necessary to operate them," he adds.
