MD&M West Returns to Anaheim

The largest medical OEM event, Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) West, will be held 19–21 February in Anaheim, CA, USA. More than 42,000 visitors will have unlimited access to the expected 1800 exhibiting companies, providing a one-stop shop for sourcing products and services, observing on-site demonstrations, and previewing new-to-market technologies. The conference, which begins on 18 February, will include sessions on designing plastic medical devices, developing the ideal stent, regulatory affairs, process validation, and quality control. MD&M West will be colocated with Pacific Design & Manufacturing, Electronics West, West Pack, and PLASTEC West, a show dedicated to the plastics industry. All five shows are organized by Canon Communications llc, publisher of European Medical Device Manufacturer.

Stuttgart Hosts Medizin 2003

Medizin 2003, the South German Trade Exhibition for Medical Technology, Pharmacy, Materials, and Equipment for Surgery and Hospitals, will be held 31 January–2 February in Stuttgart, Germany.

MEDTEC Convenes in Germany

On 18–20 March, the Medical Equipment Design & Technology Exhibition and Conference (MEDTEC) will be held at the Stuttgart Messe in Germany. MEDTEC 2003 will provide the opportunity to network and evaluate hundreds of European and international suppliers to the medical device industry. Every category of products and services for medical applications will be represented, including automation and assembly equipment, advanced engineering components, contract manufacturing, design engineering, medical electronics, healthcare packaging, in vitro diagnostic products and materials, injection moulding equipment, advanced plastics and materials, regulatory consulting, contracting and subcontracting services, testing and inspection equipment, process and manufacturing equipment, and resins and raw materials. Between the exhibitors and the visitors, more than 36 countries will be represented.
