Low-noise vacuum pump targets suction devices
A compact diaphragm vacuum pump with high pneumatic capacity is suited for use with suction devices and related medical equipment. The Model N 838.1.2 pump was introduced by KNF Neuberger GmbH (Freiburg, Germany) at Medica.
The pump is equipped with a proprietary stress-optimized structured diaphragm that accommodates high-capacity architectures and ensures a long service life. Transfer rates under atmospheric conditions attain 42 L/min; vacuum levels are rated at 90 mbar absolute. Although the device operates quietly, an optional silencer is available to further reduce decibel levels. It can operate in any orientation.
This new model complements the company's existing range of products for medical applications, including dc-powered pumps for portable use and high-transfer-capacity pumps for other suctioning devices.
