Airless dispensers combine product protection and ease of useNew iterations of airless dispensers for pharmaceutical products presented at Emballage by Wilden AG (Regensburg, Germany) feature an airtight sealing membrane, which reduces the need for preservatives, and simple, convenient handling for the end-user.
The dispensers have been designed to facilitate processing at modified tube-filling plants and by filling machines. They can be filled with materials of varying viscosities, and a range of surface decoration options are available to satisfy OEM branding requirements. Only US FDA–approved materials are used to mold the dispensers, which deliver consistent dosages accurate to ±5%.
The Prestige and slim-profile Advance models are available in 50-, 75-, 100-, and 150-ml capacities.
Wilden is currently developing a two-component dispenser, in which ingredients are packaged separately and mixed immediately prior to dispensing.
