PRODUCT UPDATE
Emplex Systems Inc.Digital temperature, pressure, and tachometer controls on the front panel of a validatable medical sealing machine maintain sealing parameters. The MPS 6300 sealer from Emplex Systems Inc. (Toronto, ON, Canada) incorporates air-pressurized heating and cooling bars, an audio alarm, an external thermocouple jack, and a reverse-feed motor. Optional control package upgrades and data-acquisition systems are available to meet quality assurance and analysis requirements. Equipped with an internal safety interlock switch and a gas-spring floor stand for height adjustments, the sealer comes in tabletop, stand-alone, and conveyorized versions. It employs etched Teflon bands to produce consistently strong, clean seals. The machine accommodates such add-ons as trimmers, printers, and embossers.
