OEM catheter manufacturer seeks partnerships
A company with 15 years of experience in the development and manufacture of PTCA catheters makes its expertise available to device OEMs. Arthesys (Gennevilliers, France) offers its partners a proven line of catheters that can be adapted to their specifications in terms of balloon diameter and length, radiopaque marker positioning, and hub colours and logos.
The firm's Alcyon catheters feature a step-free design that results in a streamlined profile and ease of transition. A thermowelding assembly process that is reportedly unique to the company enhances the catheter balloon's resistance and crossability.
In-house resources enable the company to manufacture ready-to-market systems ranging from single catheters to sterile kits in customer-specified packaging. The company also provides extensive support for product certification and CE marking.
