Information on Tekra Corporation's products and capabilities for the membrane touch-switch and medical diagnostic markets is now readily accessible on the Internet. Tekra has upgraded the applications section of its Web site, www.tekra.com, with detailed information on the types of products offered to the medical market, a discussion of how the products work, and explanations of the company's coating and converting capabilities.
Tekra is a supplier of film, adhesives, and polymer thick films to the medical and other markets. "This new addition to [the] Web site streamlines our customers' and prospects' ability to access Tekra's product lines," says Kevin Suino, market development manager at Tekra.

RTP Company offers customized thermoplastic compounds for the medical sector. OEMs, designers, and moulders can quickly search for the right thermoplastic compound at the company's Web site, www.rtpcompany.com, now featuring a German-language version to support the recently opened sales office in Merenberg, Germany. The German-language site, www.rtpcompany.com/de, contains product information, customer support, and key contact information. The site contains a properties search function that can scan more than 2700 compound data sheets and specifies those that are suited to the user-defined parameters. Users can select English standard or metric data-point ranges for up to three material properties, such as surface resistance, tensile strength, flammability, or specific gravity. Or, users can base their search on type and grade of resin or specific RTP nomenclature.
