Description:
Provides extrusion and compression molding of engineered, high-performance thermoplastics for use in medical applications. The company stocks rod, sheet, slab, and film in such materials as UHMW-PE, acetal copolymer, Ultem (polyetherimide), heat-stabilized polypropylene, polycarbonate, polysulfone, PEEK, and Radel R (polyphenylsulfone). Most of the resins comply with FDA 21 CFR 177 requirements and meet USP Class I to Class VI biocompatibility provisions. The materials can withstand repeated sterilization by steam autoclave, EtO gas, or irradiation.
