Description:
Develops nonradioactive detection systems. Vectastain ABC kits use a preformed avidin and biotinylated complex of Elite peroxidase, alkaline phosphatase, or glucose oxidase for immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, ELISAs, and blot detection. Biotin and avidin and lectin reagents can be used for neuronal tracing, cell sorting, immunofluorescence, and glycoprotein purification. The lab also produces enzyme and fluorescently labeled avidin, streptavidin, and antibodies.
