Pentair Electronic Packaging-Schroff® offers medical device manufacturers a range of electronic packaging solutions for applications in diagnostic imaging, in-vitro diagnostic systems (IVD) and electro-surgical instrumentation.
Pentair-Schroff offers CompactPCI®, MicroTCA, and VME systems to meet a wide range of medical applications. Standard Pentair-Schroff portable, desk mount, or rack mount instrument cases, and full-size cabinets, are compatible with an array of accessories, and can be configured to meet most applications using standard catalog components.
A full range of systems accessories including air-blocking panels, slot filler panels, peripherals and drive units, and system management accessories are available to customize enclosures for specific applications. For example, system cooling options include fan trays and fan controllers, hot swap fan modules, plus, Pentair-Schroff offers thermal design expertise and air flow and thermal testing. Power options include AC or DC power input, embedded and pluggable power supplies and power backplanes.
Pentair-Schroff also provides 3U and 6U backplanes with 2 to 16 slots in 32 bit and 64 bit. In addition, the company offers CPSB (PICMG 2.16) eight and 16 slot backplanes.
Prototype front panels can be delivered in five days. Front panel service includes PMC bezels, custom cutouts, screen printing, adhesive overlays, and assembly or kitting options.
Pentair-Schroff offers subracks in 3U & 6U heights, assembled or in kit form, with a shielding option. Standard subracks can be modified for specific applications.
Pentair Electronic Packaging-Schroff listed and certified enclosures eliminate the need for additional testing when peripherals are added. In-house approval testing (UL, EMC), thermal testing, EMI/RFI, shock and air flow testing also increase your "speed to market."
