Manufactures magnetic-particle brakes, clutches, and hysteresis brakes with an automatic decogging feature. Stock units ranging in capacity from 1 oz-in. to 300 lb-ft allow precise control of tensioning torque by varying the input current. Typical applications include web handling (where the products are used in unwinding and rewinding film, fabric, and wire), load simulation for testing motors, and torque limiting.
