Vesta manufactures silicone medical components, including molded, extruded, and assembled products. Additional services include engineering and design assistance, prototyping, and production capabilities from first run, short run, and up to high volume. Vesta's advanced Liquid Injection Molding (LIM) process ensures speed, precision, and cleanliness. We offer injection, insert, transfer, and cold runner molding services. Our modern systems include semi- and fully-automated liquid injection molding presses coupled with automated material delivery systems. Our molding processes can produce nearly unlimited products for differing applications, including balloons, sensors, pump tubes and valves, test chambers, infusion sleeves, and more. The possibilities are limited only by the imagination.
Our extrusion capabilities are extensive, ranging from single lumen tubing and multilumen tubing with up to 22 lumens and more possible. Wire coextrusions offer added strength, kink or stretch resistance, electrical conductivity, and other characteristics your design requires. Specialty extrusions are converted into assembly applications such as catheters, drainage tubes, vascular loops, compression bars, inflatable seals, pump tubes, and more.
Vesta’s personnel, HEPA filtered environment, monitored production areas, and flow booths ensure that all integrated assemblies are the highest-quality product. We perform assembly and sub-assembly, and can combine silicone components with customer-specified non-silicone parts. Our secondary operation capabilities include slitting, punching, trimming, beveling, tipping, silk-screening, marking, skiving, cuffing, dipping, bundling, and functional testing. Our assembly applications include wound drains, airways, nasal splints, occluders, shunts, catheters, paired tube assemblies, and more.
