A family owned company in its third generation of leadership, Ulbrich Stainless Steels and Special Metals has been providing a wide variety of metal related products to the medical device industry for over 50 years. We specialize in providing precision flat and fine wire, including rounds, custom shapes and profiles, as well as precision rolling strip in coil form. Our flat and fine wire products are commonly used as BRAID FOR REINFORCED CATHETER applications, shaped wire is often used as ARCH WIRE and BRACKETS for orthodontic applications. Our newly acquired Delta Ulbrich division can provide copper and SILVER PLATED COPPER MANDRELS FOR CATHETER MANUFACTURING. The strip product is used in a multitude of applications including surgical instruments, hypodermic needles, and implantable devices.

Ulbrich has a long history with extensive expertise in working with highly specialized alloys and grades of metal. Stainless, Titanium, Cobalt, Cobalt-Chromium and Nitinol are just a few of the many alloys suitable for the medical industry that we process. Gold, silver and nickel plating for the flat and round wire products is also readily available.
