Modular Plastic Check Valves
Smart Products manufactures an extensive family of plastic check valves and pressure relief valves. With over 3 million configurations, these modular valves allow the user to design a custom check valve using standard components.
These valves provide an accurate, reliable control of fluid or gas in low pressure, low flow OEM systems and are often a superior alternative to comparable metal valves. With a low inertia poppet design, double-tapered o-ring seats achieve a fast, positive seal. Options include a choice of opening pressures from 0.11- 20 PSI and FDA and NSF-compliant and corrosion resistant materials.
Also offered is a spring-loaded barbed micro check valve with a ball seal. The smallest of its kind in the industry, it easily inserts into 1/8" i.d. tubing. Due to the unique design, pressure is not required to close and, like all Smart Products check valves, can be used as a pressure relief valve.
