A Tradition of Manufacturing Excellence
Micro Medical Technologies is built upon the solid foundation of parent company Micro Stamping Corp., innovators in metal stamping for over 60 years. High volume manufacturing excellence is our hallmark: each year we flawlessly deliver more than 100 million ligation clips and assemble over 1 million endoscopic instruments in our clean room.
Innovative Tube Fabrication
Many of the instruments we produce are built upon the platform of our patented rolled tube technology. This process allows us to eliminate costly secondary operations required by drawn tubes by adding features in our stamping dies, resulting in dramatic cost savings.
We have recently augmented this breakthrough technology with a facility devoted to drawn and seamless tubing fabrication. This partnership provides us with 40 years of tube forming expertise and proven Asian supply sources, placing us in a unique position to offer a full range of low-cost, high quality tubing solutions.
Dedicated Development Resources
No more "tug-of-war" with production: the 4,000 square foot Frank Semcer Development Center houses presses, wire EDM machines and laser capabilities devoted exclusively to prototype and development. The Center employs 8 full-time tool makers and 5 dedicated Project Engineers who work closely with customers and production personnel to ensure a smooth transition from Prototype to Production.
A Full Range of Solutions
Most finishing operations such as tumbling, heat treating, passivating, laser welding and sharpening are performed in house.
Sister company Micro Medical Technologies Singapore provides complementary technologies such as Metal Injection Molding, Ceramic Injection Molding and precision machining and casting, while Micro Star Innovations provides state-of-the-art plastic molding solutions.
