Stent Cutting in Prototype or Production Quantities

MicroGroup continues to push the envelope in stent cutting by utilizing state-of-the-art Nd YAG lasers. Featuring an impressive range of size options, tubes with a diameter of up to .125” and a wall thickness of up to .010” can be converted into stents. Stock and Custom Stainless Steel and Exotic Alloy Tubing Materials

MicroGroup has at any given time, 7 million feet of stainless steel and exotic alloy tubing in stock. With this large inventory on hand at all times, most of your tubing orders can be supplied virtually overnight. In addition, in-house redrawing capabilities offer added flexibility for short runs with fast lead times. For custom requirements such as squares, ovals, rectangles and more, MicroGroup has all of the in-house capabilities and skilled personnel to produce and deliver your order fast.

Contract Manufacturing for Medical Markets

From simple fabrication services to complex custom components and assemblies, MicroGroup’s scope of services extends well beyond tubing material inventories. In-house services include: centerless and form grinding, burr-free cutting, bending, flaring, swaging, end forming, needle grinding, electrochemical processes, wire and ram edm, laser cutting and welding, silver solder, cnc turning and milling,. Also, a host of finishing services are available including bead blasting, passivation, electropolishing and pyrolization.
