Interface – Catheter Solutions
Interface is the only provider of full-service, vertically integrated solutions for catheter production. Our services and products include design and development, prototyping, catheter and balloon manufacturing, balloon forming, catheter assembly and testing equipment, and extruded tubing designed for balloon production. Located in Southern California, we are ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2000 certified and maintain complete control over all aspects of the production process

Interface has developed over 2,000 balloon designs and a comprehensive equipment line for manufacturing, testing, and assembly. We have in-house machine shops for building tools, dies and molds. The Interface team is your proven partner from concept development to ramp-up production for full-scale manufacturing.

We produce balloons in sizes from 0.5mm to 50mm in diameter and 250mm in length, with wall thicknesses ranging from 0.002" to 0.007" and burst pressures up to 50 atmospheres. Shapes include cylindrical, spherical, oval, conical, stepped, offset and more.

As an FDA registered device manufacturer, Interface offers complete catheter assembly including necking, swaging, jacketing, welding, wrapping, fluting, stent crimping, leak testing, packaging and sterilization. We have stringent documentation processes and data controls, so you can put your trust in us.

And if you're looking to source extruded tubing for balloons, our custom-designed extrusion produces balloon tubing that will increase yields, which means greater productivity and better cost controls for you.

Since the company's formation in 1995, Interface continues to offer catheter manufacturers a comprehensive line of equipment for balloon forming, catheter and balloon manufacturing, and testing. These can customized to meet your specific production line needs.
