Halkey-Roberts manufactures plastic components and subassemblies used in disposable medical devices. We are ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 13485 certified and manufacture to GMP standards.

We produce standard and customized medical valves including those used as substitutes for needle ports in IV applications, catheter and tracheal tube valves, tubing clamps, tubing flanges, fill and drain closures, hand pumps and pressure relief valves.

All Halkey-Roberts products are available in a variety of colors and materials to satisfy your aesthetic and sterilization requirements.

Halkey-Roberts swabable luer valves were developed as substitutes for needle ports in IV applications. These additions to our needlefree valve line allow multiple usage, require no cap, have exceptional flow and low priming volume, all at an economical price. Valve stems and bodies will mate securely with all standard luer syringes and luer connectors. All materials are Gamma resistant, USP class VI, DEHP-free and latex-free.

Available in straight, 'Y' port, vial adapter (13mm and 20mm), tube end (available 2mm, 2.5mm, 2.8mm, 3.7mm, and 4.0mm), male luer, bag, break-off, T-port and stopcock valve configurations. Bodies are available in polycarbonate or in copolyester for easy bonding.

Halkey-Roberts is presently showcasing our complete line of needlefree swabable products including our tube end, bag access, and stopcock valves.

The tube end valves have tubing pockets designed to fit five sizes of tubing (2.0mm, 2.5mm, 2.8mm, 3.7mm and 4.0mm) for convenient bonding.

Bag access valves are designed to attach directly to solution bags during manufacturing, a cost effective way to convert any needle port on a bag to a needlefree access site providing high flow as well as a closed system. The bag access valve is designed to fit 6.8mm (.268") inside diameter tube ports. Break off valves are available in two sizes: 6.0mm and 6.8mm.

Halkey-Roberts stopcock takes advantage of the needlefree access as well as the closed system benefits of our valve technology, enhancing the ease-of-use as well as the safety of any stopcock.

The Halkey-Roberts needlefree vial cap incorporates our swabable needlefree valve technology which helps reduce the potential for accidental needle sticks and transmission of blood-borne diseases by eliminating the use of needles for accessing a standard drug vial.

The patented three-piece design simplifies vial attachment suiting it for hospital/pharmacy and home use.

The valve features ease of use, high flow, low priming volume and secure attachment to drug vials. The vial caps are available in 20mm and 13mm configurations.
