ExtruMed is an ISO registered manufacturer of high precision extruded tubing for use in medical applications. ExtruMed was founded in 1990 to serve the OEM's needs for quick turn custom extrusions. Dedication to high quality and customer service has led to ExtruMed becoming a critical supplier to both large and small medical device manufacturers. The major markets that our tubing are utilized in include: Cardiac Rhythm Management, Neuro-stimulation, Endoscopy, Laparoscopy, and Endovascular.

SERVICES OFFERED:

ExtruMed offers a variety of services and product capabilities that are utilized by many medical device manufacturers. Our primary capability is the extrusion of high precision single and multi-lumen tubing. ExtruMed manufacturers tubing from a variety of different materials including: Polyurethane, Nylon, Polyester, Polyethylene, Polycarbonate, Barium or Bismuth filled and specialty compounds.

ExtruMed also offers a custom line of polyolefin heat-shrink tubing. ExtruMed has successfully manufactured polyolefin heat-shrink tubing with shrink ratios as high as 10:1. With a high shrink ratio and low shrink temperature polyolefin heat-shrink tubing is suitable for many medical device applications. Some application include: insulation, balloon bonding, strain relief and manufacturing tools. Offered in lengths from 0.5" to 60".

ExtruMed supplements its core capabilities by providing value added services for its customers. These services include secondary operations such as mechanical testing, pressure testing, process validations, inventory management and material consultation. Our engineers and staff work closely with each customer to ensure that product meets specification, budgets and time constraints.

Our commitment to quality is unwavering. Highly trained and dedicated technicians tackle each project with an eye for perfection. 100% visual inspection is conducted on most products and only parts which are considered acceptable by our stringent QC inspectors are accepted. Each product has detailed process documentation to ensure quality and full traceability. ExtruMed is an ISO-9001 registered company.
