Improve Coating, Bonding, Cleaning and Printing Adhesion
Enercon is breaking new ground with in-line atmospheric plasma surface treatment for medical applications. Take advantage of the most comprehensive surface treating product line with our free laboratory trials or schedule a demonstration at your facility by contacting us today.
Primer on air plasma
In-line atmospheric plasma surface treating systems eliminate the need for costly and often hazardous priming agents. Enercon's blown-arc air plasma technology is represented by the Dyne-A-Mite HP (http://www.enerconind.com/meddesign/dyneHP20070309.html). Air plasma is formed by blowing atmospheric air past two high-voltage powered electrodes and is sometimes referred to as corona treatment. This high performance system handles most traditional applications.
The Dyne-A-Mite IT
(http://www.enerconind.com/meddesign/dyneIT20070309.html) is Enercon's blown-ion surface treater. This system pushes pressurized air past a single electrode which discharges inside the treater head. A high velocity stream of charged ions directed toward the substrate treats both conductive and non-conductive systems. Its narrow treatment focus also makes it ideal for treating grooves and crevices.
Flame Plasma
Enercon's Dyne-A-Flame is sets new standards for flame plasma performance. The system's advanced combustion control system is expertly paired with PowerFlame burner technology for long lasting and uniform treatment. Simplified operation through the system's advanced controls make repeatable results remarkably easy to achieve.
Variable Chemistry Plasma
Variable chemistry plasma offers treating effectiveness and functionality to new levels for difficult to treat materials. Enercon's new Dyne-A-Mite VCP (http://www.enerconind.com/meddesign/dyneVCP20070309.html) blends air with other gases that deposit various chemical groups on the substrate surface to improve its surface energy. Variable chemistry plasma treatment is essentially an etching and functionalizing process that provides different surface characteristics depending on the gas chemistry employed.
