Directed Light was founded in 1983 with the objective of providing high quality, cost-effective laser products to the industrial, medical and scientific marketplace. Directed Light's Laser Job Shop is your single source for virtually any laser materials processing application. From R & D to production, our engineering and technical staff can handle your requirements. Our extensive line of equipment include Nd:YAG (Pulsed & Q-Switched), CO2, 355nm-UV, and 532nm-Green laser systems that are available for welding (including hermetic sealing), cutting, drilling, marking and ablation on a wide variety of materials. Complete applications lab for prototype, R&D & quick turn around services. Your engineering resource for laser design-to-manufacture, process development/standard operating procedures, and SPC production development. Our quality control lab is complete with a wide coordinate measuring system, optical comparator, toolmaker's microscopes and helium mass spectrometer leak testing equipment to assure compliance with the closest tolerances.
