IV & Patient Monitoring

Stopcocks
For many years, Elcam's stopcocks are the first choice of the world OEM leader companies with the highest quality, regulatory and specifications demands, relying on Elcam's well known reliability. Elcam are offering widest selections of stopcocks available in the marketplace including standard, large bore (high flow), high pressure, swabbable/closed stopcocks, antimicrobial and long list of custom designed stopcocks. Elcam stopcocks are available in 1-way, 2-way (90°), 3-way (180°) and 4-way (360°) configuration, with variety of handle and luer lock designs, including the Elcam's RampLock™ for best fixing of a luer lock connection.

Elcam stopcocks are designed for worldwide markets and meet all standards according to ISO 594 and DIN 13090. They work for a variety of applications - hemodynamic pressure monitoring, I.V. therapy, high flow systems, angioplasty and anesthesia. The Elcam stopcocks are suitable for gamma radiation and stopcocks for lipid solutions.

Manifolds
Elcam offers a full range of 2,3,4 & 5 gang female-female or female-male manifolds, designed to meet the needs of general I.V. therapy, O.R., ICU, Anesthesia, Oncology and more, including the innovative SafePort for easier and safer emergency introduction of solution in Anesthesia and ICU. Elcam Manifolds are available 3 or 4 way, with 4 different handle configurations. Handles are available in 5 colors, enabling countless of color sequences of the manifold's handles to choose from or create. Products can be supplied in materials suitable for E .T.O., E - beam and Gamma irradiation.

Slit Septum line
Elcam Medical provides Needleless Components for IV Applications. Elcam's Slit septum line includes devices with an injection site, allowing needle-free penetration through a latex-free septum. Among these devices are Elcam's Y-Site which is a Y-shaped device designed to match I.V. sets and intended for continuous and/or intermittent infusion and Elcam's Luer Lock/ Luer Slip Injection Site which is a latex-free needle-less injection site for sampling and administration of medications. By eliminating the need for using needles, Elcam's Slit Septum product line provides protection against needle sticks. These devices are self-resealed after syringe retraction, they are leak-proof for 150 activations/penetrations and compatible with all common fluids used in I.V. therapy, anesthesia and feeding.

Swabbable Stopcocks

A stopcock intergraded with a luer activated swabbable valve (or valves) allowing safe, needleless use of the stopcock ports. This offers leak-free aseptic fluid administration and sampling in the operating room, while keeping the IV line closed, preventing contamination of the IV line. In addition, it is cost effective as it eliminates the need for caps, "Hep-locks", luer activated valves, cannulas or any other add-on components.

The Marvelous stopcock stands for Minimal Residual Volume Luer activated Stopcock (MRVLS). The Marvelous is a stopcock integrated with a luer activated swabbable valve (or valves), with a unique channel that automatically flushes the side port along with the flow line, allowing zero residual volume!

Antimicrobial Stopcocks

B-Stop STP

In light of the pronounced risks associated with hospital-acquired infections in patients who need therapy using stopcocks, Elcam Medical , offers B-Stop, an antimicrobial stopcock. Elcam's "B-Stop" is a silver impregnated antimicrobial stopcock that reduces bacteria colonization on the device.

Elcam Medical silver-ion based antimicrobial technology was in-vitro tested and proven to be effective against the most prevalent sources of catheter related blood stream infections.

High Pressure Stopcocks
Elcam High Pressure stopcocks are designed for Cath Lab applications withstanding pressure of 1200 psi (82bar) Available in 1 and 3 way (optional 4way) configurations with rotating H.P. adapters or standard swivel luer lock. Handles are available in "ON" and "OFF" configuration Compatible for ETO sterilization.

Cannula

Elcam Medical's Needleless Components for IV Applications include the cannula line which is an adapting device used to penetrate the Y-site and injection site, eliminating the need to use needles in hospital procedures. The locking cannula provides complete safety in a secure connection through the locking mechanism. It is indicated for secondary sets and secure syringe connections. The straight cannula is intended for medication push via a syringe and has safety wings to maintain a good grip. Besides eliminating the need for using needles hereby providing protection against needle sticks, Elcam's cannulas enable fast and easy connection and disconnection to I..V. lines. Our cannulas are compatible with all common fluids used in I.V. therapy, anesthesia and feeding and are lipid resistant.

Integrated Disposable Pressure Transducers / Flush Devices

Integrated DPT (DIPT)

Elcam Medical's unique DIPT comprises a blood pressure sensor, a flush device, and a stopcock all molded as a single piece. The sensor is in hydraulic connection with the blood stream so that the patient's pulse can be translated to an electrical signal. The flush device allows continuous low flow when at rest and a high flow required for flushing blood from the monitoring line when operated. The stopcock is used for zeroing the pressure monitor before operation. It also assists in blood sampling procedures.

The DIPT benefits include a compact design that increases patient comfort, an integrated design that greatly improves accuracy, minimizing trapped air. The clear and visible fluid path enables easy de-bubbling and flushing, and the DIPT allows single hand operation of the flush device.

Elcam's DIPT Applications include direct arterial blood pressure monitoring, left atrial monitoring, pulmonary artery monitoring, venous pressure monitoring and cardiac catheterization.

Angiography & Cardiology

Y-Click
Elcam's Y-Click connector provides an easy-to-use hemostatic device for both diagnostic and interventional procedures.

The ergonomically designed Y-Click significantly reduces the blood loss during interventional procedures using a three stage valve with three positions: open (for insertion of guide wire / catheter), semi-open (allows for maneuverability with minimal friction while preventing back bleeding), and closed (seals around the catheter or wire preventing blood loss still allowing maneuverability of guide wires and small diameter catheters).

Elcam's Y-Click Revolutionary New Design provides unique advantages:

Self closing mechanism during injection of contrast media to avoid leakage,
One-handed operation both for opening the device by pushing the valve or closing the device by pressing on the lever with one's thumb.

H-Flow V. (Hemostatic Flow Valve)
Elcam's new HFV (Hemostatic Flow Valve) is a patented (US Patent No. 5,336,192), Luer activated self-sealing device which allows convenient placement and positioning of common guidewire (0.014" – 0.038") and micro catheters (up to 4F) through an angiographic catheter with no leakage.
