Paragon Medsystems designs, develops and manufactures complex medical devices and instruments. We take concepts from the earliest stages of development through prototyping, testing, pilot manufacturing and ramp-up.
Our award-winning R&D staff includes seasoned engineers and program managers who have developed hundreds of successful medical devices — everything from endoscopic surgical tools to computer-based intraoperative monitoring systems. We utilize the latest in CAD tools and prototyping techniques to produce clinical-grade models in as little as one week.
All products are developed in accordance with FDA and ISO design control guidelines, using Paragon's proprietary project management techniques that minimize time to market. We provide full documentation packages ready to hand off to production.
We offer three levels of production capability — in-house, Mexico and China. All three options are fully QSR compliant and ISO 9001/13485 certified. Our in-house group allows close cooperation between design teams and production teams, and specializes in pilot production and complex instrument assembly. As production quantities ramp-up, we can transfer sub-assemblies to our Mexican affiliate, which is just one hour south of our main plant. For even higher quantities and lower costs, we transfer turn-key production of assemblies and finished goods to our affiliate in China.
