CI Medical provides critical printing / marking services to Medical Device Manufacturers. Established in 1985, CI Medical is the only ISO 9001:2000 certified, transfer pad printing company in the U.S. catering exclusively to the marking needs of the medical device industry.

The company operates state-of-the-art, proprietary computerized pad printing equipment within in a 20,000sf clean, environmentally-controlled production facility. On-site plasma gas pretreatment, specialty medical grade inks and proprietary equipment customizations, enable CI Medical to print on all substrates – including those with traditionally difficult adherence properties (FEP, PP, PE, PTFE, Silicone, Polyurethane and Delrin) – with speed, efficiency, precision and consistency.
After 20+ years of experience of mastering the techniques of transfer pad printing, CI Medical is unrivaled in its level of expertise and has developed many proprietary techniques to achieve superior printing (i.e.- quality of image, adhesion of medical grade inks to difficult plastic substrates, etc.) on virtually any medical device – regardless of size, substrate or surface irregularity. The permanent markings withstand various sterilization techniques.
