Description:
Designs and manufactures six-degrees-of-freedom motion trackers that report position and orientation data for individual or multiple objects and locations. Using dc magnetic tracking technology, the sensors largely overcome the noise and distortion associated with earlier trackers, according to the company. Uses include 3-D rendering of 2-D imaging modalities, location of instruments and biopsy needles, positioning of pedicle screws, surgical planning, and navigation and medical-procedure simulators.
