DESCRIPTION
Multivac, Inc. is the North American headquarters for the sales, service and distribution of Multivac packaging machinery and labeling equipment. Multivac supplies thermoform-fill-seal rollstock packaging machinery, chamber vacuum pouch sealers, tray sealers and both cross-web and in-line labelers. Multivac claims 53% of the North American market share in vacuum packaging equipment sales. Multivac equipment is backed by certification NE ISO 9001, a quality standard granted by the European manufacturing community.
FACILITIES
Multivac, Inc. is housed in a 55,000-square-foot facility, located five minutes from Kansas City International Airport. This structure houses extensive training and service centers, a rebuild shop, demo and sampling operations, a tooling manufacturing facility as well as sales and marketing offices. Multivac hosts over 500 visitors a year at its North American headquarters.
STATISTICS
With approximately 140 employees in North America, Multivac, Inc. boasts a strong national sales force of 16 field representatives and an excellent service team of 31 highly skilled technicians and electronics engineers across the United States. Multivac has manufactured and installed over 50,000 packaging machines worldwide.

In order to serve its primary markets better than ever, Multivac has focused its organization along industry lines. A business unit devoted strictly to the Medical Industry has been established. This Medical Division is staffed by sales, service and support veterans of the Medical Industry.

Multivac, Inc. maintains a $5,500,000 inventory of replacement parts, assuring that nearly 95% of stock part orders are shipped the same day. A four-day operator/maintenance training class is offered with each machine ordered. Service support is available locally virtually anywhere in North America.
